Flip Summon

A Flip Summon occurs when a face-down monster is flipped face-up.

Some monsters have their effects activated when flipped face-up, these effects are always noted with the word "FLIP" with Man-Eater Bug being an example of that.

When you Set a monster you cannot flip it face-up that same turn unless it's done by a card effect. If you flip a set monster face-up it always goes to attack position, when your opponent battles your set monster it is flipped face-up as well but it stays in defense position if your opponent's monster is unable to destroy the card, flip effects do occur when attacked.
